The goal of the One to One Program is to reduce the loneliness and isolation that many nursing home residents experience. One to One matches volunteers with nursing home residents, for personalized weekly visits. Volunteers commit a minimum of one hour, once a week to their resident in order to develop a meaningful and lasting friendship. All volunteers will be required to attend a training session to help maximize and support the experience. Please contact Toma Tracy at 315-449-3552, ext. 203 or by email at ttracy@ifwcny.org.
