Research Assistant

Research assistants will work with staff on a variety of research efforts to assist in community health improvement planning activities. The position will review relevant publications, conduct research online and via telephone, compile data into spreadsheets and databases, and complete written report summaries in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

The volunteer must have strong attention to detail and excellent problem solving skills. Analytic skills are also required to be successful in this position. Moderate computer skills and experience with databases and spreadsheets is also helpful.

This position can be completed either in office or remotely. However, if the volunteer wishes to complete the assignments virtually, the volunteer must have access to a computer, phone and internet connection.

Training:

Research Assistants will be required to complete basic FDOH-Lake training. Background check is required. Training on some position duties may be available as needed.
