Help seniors in long term care facilities by being their advocate for quality of life and care.
Long Term Care Ombudsman are state certified representatives who assure that residents in long term care and assisted living facilities have someone who care about them. You will advocate for their rights, assist to resolves concerns and complaints, and work with family members and staff.
To qualify you must be 18years old, complete four once a weekly free local training and serve an internship. Schedules are flexible-you decide on how many hours you want to serve. We request a minimum commitment of 1 year. No experience is necessary

Description
The Agency plans and coordinates services for persons ages 60 and older and their family caregivers who live in the 14 counties surrounding Dallas and Tarrant. Direct services include: information and referral, case management, benefits counseling, legal assistance, ombudsman, money organizer, homemaker, and caregiver education and training.
