Become part of the team that has successfully raised over $1,500,000 for Chicago charities serving children and families!
We are seeking a photographer to join our team of merchandise photographers who shoot items for our online store. The photography role is a critically important one to our business. If you are an organized, detail-oriented person with a keen eye and a great shot, this volunteer role is for you!
Photography volunteers will be responsible for shooting and uploading clothing, jewelry, footwear, home decor items and furniture. Our photography volunteers follow a provided, predetermined format for our product photography that allows us to present a consistent look to the products we feature online. Photos are shot square/no larger than 1000 x 1000, and uploaded no longer than 24 hours after the volunteer session to our shared Dropbox folder.
We also welcome our photography volunteers, when needed and time allows, to shoot fashion vignettes as well as in-store photographs for social media. This is an opportunity to let your creativity shine!
North Shore Exchange is a nonprofit resale boutique offering upscale and luxury designer women's clothing and accessories, furniture and home decor. All profits support Chicagoland organizations providing human services to children and families at or below the poverty level.
Time commitment is approximately four to six hours per week. Days and times are flexible.
With acceptance of the volunteer role, the photographer agrees that photography shot during the volunteer time frame is the property of North Shore Exchange.
