Every home is unique! Are you crafty and creative? ReStore is looking for someone to comb the internet for craft ideas and ways to reuse donated products in innovative and fun ways. ReStore will then help you to turn that dream into a reality. This position offers FLEXIBLE scheduling and other benefits.
Requirements/Skills:
- Detail oriented and creative
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to use/has access to tools to create upcycled products
- Desire to volunteer long-term with Cedar Valley ReStore
Volunteer Responsibilities:
- Provides unique and creative examples of how to alternatively use donated products
- Provides step-by-step accounts for how an upscaled product is made
- May provide numerous examples of different upscale products made from similar materials in the form of a poster
- Frequently checks in with volunteer supervisor

Cedar Valley Habitat for Humanity ReStore is a discount home improvement center that offers new and gently used building supplies and home improvement items to the general public, while supporting the local Habitat affiliate's mission of affordable home-building, and also diverting usable materials from landfills. We rely on generous donations from local individuals and families, as well as contractors, retailers, wholesalers, community organizations, churches, etc.
