American Dream U is a non-profit organization dedicated toward helping military members transition to civilian life. Through an array of resources such as national events, monthly meetups, various workshops and an education program, American Dream U will continue to offer its free services to members (past or present) of the military to find their future.
We're looking for an ADU raving Fan to assist with planning and coordinating ADU events and member experience including logistics, sponsorships, list management and budgets.
Contribute to event planning processes.
Perform activities necessary to complete event execution.
Assist in developing event budget.
Creating and managing RSVP lists.
Assisting in developing partnerships and sponsorships.
Create staffing needs and assist with coordinating other volunteers.
Accurately tracking event costs to contribute to close-out document.
Passion to support the American Dream U brand and business development.
Minimum commitment of 6 months is required for all volunteer positions.
Competency with event planning, execution and close-out.
Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of cross-functional teams.
Self-starter who can excel in a fast-paced and fluid environment.
