COMMUNITY HISTORY DAY: OUR NEWARK STORY


Programs will be taking place throughout the Library. Around 600 individuals are expected to come to the Library so, we will need 10 - 15 volunteers to help with different programs and activities.

Volunteers are needed for the following:

  1. Distribute Programs
  2. Meet, greet and lead Community Partners to their tables
  3. Help people navigate through the Library
  4. Assistance with Children's Crafts
  5. Photography
  6. Gardening Activity
  7. Promote Mobile Portrait Studio
  8. Registration Table
  9. Crowd Control
  10. Collect Raffle Tickets
  11. Assist at Digitization Station
  12. Promote Phone Booth Activities
  13. Serve as Ambassadors
  14. Assist with Story Time
  15. Assist with Scavenger Hunt Prize Station
  16. Assist with Scavenger Hunt: Provide Directions
  17. Assist with Stenciling Craft
  18. Assist as needed during Zumba Class
  19. Assist during Bookmark Craft
  20. Assist as needed during Peruvian Dance
