Disability Resources, Inc. Is a local non-profit organization assisting local individuals with disabilities. We have been established since 1993.

We are looking for Volunteers to make a commitment of 3-6 months for a couple hours a week to work with individuals with developmentally and intellectual disabilities. Volunteers will assist the individual with either grocery shopping, budgeting money, making and attending appointments, housekeeping skills, personal hygiene skills, assisting with achieving health and fitness goals, preparing for school & work, and/or attending recreational activities throughout the community.

Volunteers are required to have reliable transportation with valid insurance and registration and a driver's license. Volunteers will be required to fill out daily progress notes when supporting the individual. CPR/ First Aid is preferred/required after 30 days of volunteering. Make a difference today!
