ORGANIZATION: Habitat for Humanity of Broward

  • 10 people are interested

The Habitat ReStore is a discount, retail outlet that provides a source of funds to support Habitat for Humanity of Broward on its mission of building homes, communities and hope for low income families who are currently living in substandard conditions.

Helping shoppers and donors navigate the ReStore increases our sales, which saves more items from going to the landfill and helps us generate more funding to build homes.

We are looking for committed ReStore Greeters to be the friendly face that welcomes customers, visitors and donors as they arrive to the store and that thanks them for their support and wishes them a good day as they leave. Greeters will also help us by answering questions and providing information to all customers about daily Sales, deals and information about our organization and mission.

This role requires no previous experience--just a positive attitude, a friendly smile, and willingness to answer questions from shoppers and donors. Volunteers needed anytime. Any number of service hours is appreciated. No advance scheduling necessary after a one-time, one-hour orientation

If you are interested in becoming part of our team please contact Pilar Esteban, Volunteer Coordinator at (954)396-3030 Ext.215 or pilar@habitatbroward.org
