The Premier Foundation of North Carolina Board of Directors is seeking a volunteer that possess a strong passion around generating community engagement.

Duties of the Chair are as follows: The Chair develops a work plan that includes at least two grant proposals, that will allow the committee to effectively and efficiently discharge its responsibilities and accomplish its goals for the year. The Chair participates in Board meetings as a non-voting member and facilitates communication of committee activities to the Board.

Committee officers serve for a minimum of 2 years and are elected every 2 years. The Chair is required to attend all board meetings which are currently held monthly on the 3rd Wednesday at 7pm.

The Premier Foundation of North Carolina was founded with the sole purpose of increasing total wellness in under privileged communities. The Foundation defines total wellness into three distinct pillars: Financial, Mental, and Physical.

Description

The Premier Foundation of North Carolina was founded by Dr. Martez Prince in 2015 to fulfill the financial, mental, and physical health deficiencies that exist in under privileged communities around the Charlotte Mecklenburg area.

The Premier Foundation uses a combination of seminars, one-on-one consultation, and workshops to educate and empower others. As of 2017 the Foundation has contributed a total of $30,000 to the community, in the form of monetary scholarships and service projects that bridge the gap between the served and underserved.
