Integrative Touch is one of Tucson's most beloved non-profit organizations, as it provides support for the wellbeing of children with special needs and their families. Volunteer grant writers will make the distinct impact of helping to raise funding to keep access to these important services at low to no cost to these families.

The Grant Volunteer will be part of a team that is responsible for assisting the Philanthropy Director with:

  • Writing and preparing grant proposals to various foundations and corporate entities.
  • Researching various foundations and corporate entities to gather grant information.
  • Putting together financial information for Grant proposal with help from staff
  • Gather all necessary grant requirements necessary by foundation and corporate donors
  • Assist staff with written updates to corporate and foundation donors as needed
  • Maintain current database spreadsheet and paper files, including grant tracking and reporting
  • Assist with other fundraising projects as requested
  • Attend weekly Grants meeting with Grants Team

Knowledge and Skill:

  • Strong Research, Written and Communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to work in strong team environment
  • Work can be done at home - average 4 hours per week

Candidate should be proficient in Excel & Word, and/or Google Docs and Sheets and looking for a long term commitment (we are looking for a minimum 1-year commitment).

Integrative Touch is working to revolutionize the way we think about health and wellness for children and families. We work with children with special health needs and their families to create healing experiences and to create integrated communities. Integrative Touch directly supports children, families, and communities and collaboratively supports pediatric facilities that serve children with special health needs nationally and internationally. We provide programs and services, research support, training, education, information, evaluation and consultation.
