ORGANIZATION: Help At Your Door

Take a break from your day-to-day responsibilities to make a difference in a senior's life.

Help At Your Door, a nonprofit that helps seniors and individuals with disabilities to remain independent, is looking for groups - of co-workers, students, family, church members- throughout the Twin Cities Metro area to participate in our spring yard clean up projects. We are especially looking for groups in the Bloomington/Richfield/Edina area.

Activities may include raking leaves, painting fences, planting flowers, de-thatching lawns, cleaning yard furniture, sweeping pathways, and more! Group members provide work gloves and rakes; Help At Your Door provides any other needed supplies.

A typical project involves a group of 4-6 people for about 2 hours, though larger groups may be needed on some projects.

Reserve a spot for your group this May! We accept groups for weekday or weekend projects.

Help At Your Door provides our clients with the services and resources necessary to remain vivacious and supported in life, while also providing families with the knowledge and security to ensure that their home is the best place for them to be. Volunteers provide grocery ordering and shopping services, handyman help, transportation, and chore services.
