The mission of AHRC Nassau is to advocate for, teach and assist children and adults with developmental disabilities to make life choices, exercise independence and develop responsibility. In this endeavor, AHRC Nassau encourages all individuals to fulfill their dreams and become productive members of the community. From gardening to music to movement, Wheatley Farms is not only a part of AHRC Nassau’s Day Habilitation services, but a place for the community to come together. Wheatley Farms will grow to become fully inclusive and available to people attending all AHRC Nassau Day Habilitation programs.
