Gather is seeking volunteers to help with the upcoming Meals 4 Kids summer program!
Each week throughout the summer we will distribute fresh ingredients for 10 meals to more than 700 Greater Seacoast children (per week!) eligible for Head Start or free and reduced lunch at school!
It takes many volunteers to operate this summer program - we are looking for Rochester area volunteers, so please email us with your interest. Our schedule in Rochester is every Tuesday, 11:30am-1:30pm, and 1:45-4:15pm.
Volunteer tasks may include - set up, stocking tables of food, helping manage crowd flow, checking in members, etc This volunteer opportunity involves standing for 2+ hours, is held outside rain or shine, and an ability to lift is helpful but not required.

Description
Gather serves those in our community experiencing hunger by providing nutritious food through innovative distribution programs and our Pantry Market. We offer nutrition education and recipes for healthy living. We collaborate with community partners to address the root causes of hunger throughout the Greater Seacoast.
