More than just a lunch, the Lunch Super Heroes Program is the beginning of a relationship. These lunches are our main engagement strategy, designed to begin an ongoing relationship founded on trust and acceptance.
Lunches are typically served or provided by small groups like local churches, companies, or civic groups who reserve a date. However individuals are welcome to serve lunch and eat with our clients to enhance their social skills.

Mission Statement
Building and Restoring Hope, Inc. ("BRH") was established as a nonprofit organization in 2006 with the vision to provide services that would have a positive impact on the disenfranchised. At that time, we were purely a volunteer organization. In 2010 we saw the need of the disabled and their families. It was at this time we launched the special needs day care. Our organization currently serves as a supervised adult care facility for special needs & disabled adults 17yrs of age and older who require 24-hour care. We are licensed by Texas Department of Aging and Disability Services.
Description
What is SPECIAL NEEDS daycare?
Imagine this: You have an adult that is non-mobile, disabled or cannot be left without a caregiver. Your ability to work, your ability to meet the needs of the disabled person or even have a simple lunch would be next to impossible without a program that you could trust to care for your loved one. We operate from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm with extensive care including medical, intellectual and social needs being met each day.
Who are typical clients?
Our clients are 100% disabled and without this program they would most likely be in state schools, nursing homes or homeless. Our population includes veterans with PTSD, individuals with mental illnesses, memory loss/dementia, and physical illnesses such as spinal bifida, cell deletions and amputees.
Majority of clients are from the lowest socio-economic backgrounds and either live independently in isolation, a group home environment or with a family member. Overall, adult day/special needs services provide therapeutic support, restore balance in times of crisis, and enhance overall quality of life for the clients.
