Camp Trillium provides recreational programs for children with cancer and their families in a camp setting. Activities include canoeing, kayaking, sailing, swimming, crafts, sports, high ropes, archery, fishing, campfires and much more. Volunteers do not need camp experience. Volunteers are matched with children to be their "special friend" and do the camp activities alongside the children.
Camps run throughout July and August. The minimum commitment is the duration of one camp session which can be 6 or 8 days as follows:
July 1-6
July 8-15
July 18=25
July 28-August 4
August 7-12
August 14-19
August 21-26
Food and accommodations are provided.
