Homestead Hospice is looking for a volunteer with caregiver/CNA/ medical experience who can sit with the patient while their caregiver runs errands. Visits will last as long as 1-2 hours. Volunteers would be expected to provide minimal support, getting water, tissues, blanket etc, no administering of meds and no helping patients to sit or stand.
Volunteer requirements include:
orientation
drug screening
tuberculosis skin test
all provided by Homestead
