Mission Statement
The mission of ACFM is to strengthen our local food system, economic vitality, and community identity. We do this by providing access to fresh, local food products and artisan wares sold directly from the farmers and producers themselves; educating our community about the importance of good nutrition and environmental health; supporting local businesses and business owners in a safe community gathering space; and celebrating the many diverse cultures that serve Aloha, Reedville, Cooper Mountain and beyond!
Description
We are community members, local farmers and business owners who believe access to local food and homemade products is important! Our market is managed by volunteers who want to help you support the Aloha community. The Aloha Community Farmers’ Market (ACFM) opened in May of 2016 and the ninth market season will start on May 2, 2024. We are focused on growing the number of market vendors and continuing to provide options for affordable, locally grown food and homemade products, as well as serving as a site for community gathering - with weekly events, live music and Sprouts Club (kids’) activities! The mission of the ACFM is to strengthen our local food system, economic vitality, and community identity. We do this by providing access to fresh, local and artisan food products sold directly from the farmers and producers themselves. We aim to serve Aloha, Reedville, Cooper Mountain and beyond!
