North Memorial Health Hospice offers bereavement support to families and individuals who have lost a loved one on our hospice program.
Seeking volunteers to provide follow up check in phone calls to the loved ones 6 months after death. Volunteer would provide active listening, emotional support, and connection to resources to individual counseling, grief group support, and more.
Volunteer will receive training, script, and sufficient preparation and practice to feel comfortable making phone calls and leaving voicemails offering support and resources as needed.
This has the possibility to complete phone calls from home after training at a later date.
