Music in lobby and waiting room areas is very welcoming and allows patients, families and staff to experience the healing value of music.
Volunteers provide a warm, comforting, friendly, and calm atmosphere through the process of playing instrumental music for patients and families in hospital common areas.

KentuckyOne Health, which is made up of Saint Joseph Hospital, Saint Joseph East, Saint Joseph Jessamine and several others, is a member of Catholic Health Initiatives. Saint Joseph's employees, physicians and volunteers are empowered to carry out the health care ministry begun by the Sisters of Charity of Nazareth.
