Week Eight Summer Camp Counselor

We are looking for fun, energetic teens and college students, ages 14 and older, to serve as volunteer student counselors (counselors-in-training) during our Summer Adventure Camp. Counselors will be assigned to teams of campers and will be responsible for the supervision and for facilitating the camp experience throughout the week. The experience looks GREAT on your resume and, who knows, may introduce you to a wonderful new career in camping and parks and recreation. Looking for kids who like soccer, football, Capture the Flag, Archery, fencing, fishing, slack lines, horses, and kids. CPR and/or life guard experience a PLUS. Every Friday we go to Texas Station for a fun morning at Kids Quest, bowling and The Feast Buffet. Interested? Please email camps@horses4heroes.org. We are requesting a TWO WEEK minimum commitment.

We also serve veterans with PTS/MST/TBI, domestic violence victims, recovering addicts, at-risk youth and others who need a hand up, not a hand out.l
Description
Las Vegas-based Horses4Heroes is the only national non-profit that owns its own horses and uses those horses every day in programs to empower, engage, inspire, educate and enterain. The non-profit operates the Horses4Heroes Community Equestrian Center, located within historic Floyd Lamb Park at Tule Springs. Here we give lessons, hold camps, host birthday parties, special events, Girl Scouts and more. We serve all ages from 2 to adult.
