We are looking for administrative volunteers for planning in Generations 2018, our 3rd fashion show. We are also looking for volunteers for the day of the event....greeters, servers etc.
We have virtual working opportunities as well as variable opportunity times.

Mission Statement To enhance and improve the quality of life for the elder community by providing free or low-cost access to products, services, and information; to lessen the generational gap by fostering multigenerational relationships. Vision Statement MomsHouse will be the dominant resource vehicle in the Antelope Valley for all elders to recognize and realize their independence by whatever method is appropriate for the individual using tailor-made programs as well as existing community partners.
Description
MomsHouse is a 501 (C) (3) non-profit dedicated to ensuring elders engage in active living lifestyles. We do this through seminars, events, and projects designed to towards stimulating active living.
Our mission is to enhance and improve the quality of life for the elder community by providing free or low-cost access to products, services, and information and to lessen the generational gap by fostering multigenerational relationships.
With such lofty goals, one may ask, what exactly does MomsHouse do? Basically, we do whatever is needed to empower seniors to live independent, happy lives.
- Seminars give answers and resources for everyday issues.
- Projects pinpoint areas of opportunity and address them,
- Day trips, Spa retreats and anything else you can think of
These are just some of the activities that will engage seniors mentally, spiritually and physically and we are just getting started.
MomsHouse was inspired by my mother, Chalmetta Elaine Paulette Johnson who I cared for in her last years as she experienced accelerating MS. It was a humbling experience that birthed my interest in and love of seniors. I work with seniors and issues regarding aging not only through MomsHouse but through my work with the AV Senior Center, Committee on Aging and Disabled, my co-chair position on the AV senior Network and my many community partners.
MomsHouse is here to support the senior community.
