Job Overview:

Are you a results-driven Marketing Specialist who loves TED Talks? Can you create awesome "brand experiences"? If so, we want you to lead our Marketing team! You will create and manage a strong online presence for the event, including (but not limited to) website content, a blog, social media, activations, and on-site marketing materials (verbiage for event collateral and signage).

Responsibilities:

• Develop comprehensive event marketing strategy and plan.
• Ability to convey event’s "key idea" through communications.
• Oversee all marketing communications ensuring content is engaging, on brand, error-free, and can increase ticket sales.
• Create media opportunities and press tools for journalists and others interested in covering the event.
• Weekly Conference Calls
• Monthly Team meetings

Qualifications:

• Must be a seasoned Communications Specialist
• Decisive leader with the capacity to manage teams, delegate tasks, and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated experience developing and executing marketing campaigns with a focus on the digital space and "brand experiences".
• Experienced Copy Editor.
• Possess a high-level of professionalism.
• Strong following on social media.
