Home of the Innocents is need of individual volunteers or small volunteer groups (no more than 2-3 people) to come both monthly and quarterly to update bulletin boards. Ideally this will be the same person or group so they can learn and own this project.
Person or groups would be assigned to a program. Programs consist of our Residential Shelter and Emergency Services where kids who come to live with us reside as well as our Pregnant and Parenting Teen Program. These programs keep bulletin boards that reflect positive quotes, motivational sayings, pictures, upcoming fun activities, seasonal decorations and more.
Volunteers would be providing great assistance to staff who are busy caring for our kids while also creating something very special for our kids to enjoy.
This can be scheduled ahead of time for the entire year or just before each month/quarter. Day and time is of the group's choosing as long as it Monday through Friday between the hours of 9:00am - 4:00pm.
Time commitment of 1-3 hours each month/quarter depending upon speed of group.
Creativity is welcome! All supplies provided by the Home
