Student Summer Aid Program
Please volunteer this summer and help fight food insecurity for 1 in 5 children in our community.

As we prepare for the fun of the summer months, with school "out" for the summer soon, 1,623 local students who qualify for reduced or free meals at school face the prospect of food-insecurity. To help these families, the Keystone Opportunity Center operates a Student Summer Aid Program by providing bags of "kid-friendly food" to our pantry participants.

Consider 1 in 4 of your child’s or grandchild’s classmates are at risk for food insecurity.

That’s where you come in. We are reaching out to across our caring community to ask for your help to volunteer to meet this immediate need and provide the contents that will fill "kid-friendly" food bags not later than June 26.

Please fill reusable store bag(s) with the following "kid friendly food":

Macaroni & Cheese (microwavable) Meals in a can like: Spaghettios w/meatballs, raviolis

Juice boxes, drink mixes Pudding and Fruit cups

Breakfast Cereal Granola & cereal bars

Peanut Butter and jelly Small Jar of Mayonnaise

Crackers, animal crackers, cookies Tuna

Please deliver these to the Keystone Opportunity Center

Monday - Thursday 9am - 5pm

Friday 9am - noon.

We also welcome items such as fresh fruit, hot dogs, condiments, or freeze pops to add some summer fun for our families and direct support through financial donations.

In anticipation of a positive response, thank you for joining us to help families in our community who are also our neighbors. Your volunteer service and gifts of kid friendly food for the summer will be truly appreciated and a blessing to others.

Thank you again for your continued support of the pantry at Keystone Opportunity Center.

In addition direct donations for this program are welcomed and may be mailed directly to Keystone Opportunity Center, Box 64183, Souderton PA 18964 - marked for my attention.

Should you have any questions, please reach out to me directly (215) 723-5430
