PhysioCare Hospice is looking for compassionate individuals who are looking to volunteer their time to make a change in the lives of others! PhysioCare Hospice serves over 21 counties in Indiana and takes pride in focusing on the individual, not the illness. We take pride in knowing our patients are taken care of and treated with dignity in their last days.
PhysioCare Hospice is looking for volunteers to help in many different ways! We are currently looking for volunteers for the following:
Patient Advocate- With this position in our volunteer program you would have the opportunity to make check up visits with patients on our service. You could stop in and help with small things or just simply spend time with them. Our Patient advocate volunteers are a key part in ensuring our patients care is the best they can receive.
Community Partner- With this position on our volunteer program you would have the opportunity to participate in community events with us! You could do numerous things in the community such as: booths at health fairs, bingo games, activities with nursing homes, etc. The possibilities are endless! We will do our very best to make sure you are put in an activity that you will enjoy doing!

Description

We are able to offer caregivers some relief from the burdens they experience. Knowing our skilled staff will focus on their loved one's symptoms and pain control to give them the best quality of life each day allows the family to experience peace of mind. A registered nurse is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to assist with any needs after regular office hours, on weekends, and holidays.
