Mission of FMDNS:
An important value of the center is to have a safe and healthy environment that will meet the developmental needs of the children. In order to do this, we must recruit creative, resourceful and caring volunteers. The success of the center comes in meeting the needs of the children and families in our community.
Position Title: Utility and Supply Room Organizer
Job Description: Volunteer will be assigned to clean up all of the storage closets available in FMDNS. The volunteer will be in charge for organizing, de-cluttering the utility, resource rooms and having everything "put-in-its-place" for better appearance. The specific duties include dusting cabinets, drawers, mopping floors, and sorting all items that are not properly in place into to their original storage. The volunteer will also do some heavy lifting to accommodate furniture as needed.
Qualifications:
Volunteer should possess good organizational skills, punctuality
Ability to perform duties quickly and effectively
Good physical stamina required
Must work well with others
Pass an FBI background check
Volunteers Needed: 2
Hours: Flexible/Your choice
Report To: Vista Volunteer Program Developer and/or Volunteer coordinator
