Come join us for a day of fun, music, food and community information. We need folks like you to volunteer your time to this great event!

Really need volunteers to help with Carnival games, face painting and other fun recreational activities!


The Pottstown Comm -- " UNITY" Fair is an event for family to come share in a day of fun, food, health screenings, (blood pressure, diabetes, etc), music, community news, employment opportunities and most of all "UNITY" and so much more! This is a "FREE" event to uplift an support the growth of all groups in the Pottstown and surrounding areas. The sponsor of this great event is the Pottstown Human Relation Commission, (PHRC). PHRC is excited to have the support of many groups, Celebration Christian Services of Pa (CCSPA), local businesses, local fire & police, hospitals, and schools in the area. There will be games, clothing giveaways, fitness demos and entertainment! There will be something for everyone to enjoy! We need volunteers to help make this event a wonderful day! This event was initially scheduled for June 10, 2018, but was rescheduled due to weather. The event is now being held on July 15, 2018 from 12pm to 5pm.

Mission Statement

CCSPA is a direct provider of social services to at risk and vulnerable populations and an indirect provider by partnering with social service providers and like minded agencies in the Philadelphia-Camden-Wilmington area. Our mission is to serve those communities in need with financial literacy services, healthcare awareness, resources for social service assistance. We also partner with other non-profit groups that serve to uplift people in communities that are underserved.

Description

The targets populations of the outreach of CCSPA social services includes but is not limited to:

  • Elderly Citizens

  • Racial and Ethnic Minorities

  • Immigrants

  • Members of All Religious Groups

  • Disabled (Limited, Physically or Mentally Challenged)

  • Active and Former Military Service Members

  • Low-to-Moderate Income Consumers or people on low fixed income

  • Citizens on Public Assistance

  • People with Limited Education

  • People who are under ot who have been under financial distress

  • People who have been or were Incarcerated

  • Students and Young Adults (K-12 and College)

  • Children Designated as "At Risk"
