FMDNS Mission:

An important value of Fred Moore Day Nursery School is to have a safe and healthy environment that will meet the developmental needs of the children. In order to do this, we must recruit creative, resourceful and caring volunteers. The success of the center comes in meeting the needs of the children and families in our community.

Position Title: Volunteer Office Aid

Position Description: The volunteer office aid will be responsible for, but not limited to, supporting the office in fulfilling tasks, such as filling, keeping records, sending out and receiving mail and packages, making reminder phone calls for other volunteers who are scheduled to come in, record donations and keep track in a database for reports.

Qualifications:

Volunteer must know basic computer programs such as Microsoft Word and Excel

Be able to demonstrate strong verbal communication, writing and organizational skills

Ability to adapt to a fast paced environment

Quick learner

Punctual and dependable at all times

Must exhibit enthusiasm and/or interest to learn

Pass an FBI background check- $ 2.00 fee

Hours: Anytime from 6:30am- 6:00pm
