Fundraising Manager:

The Fundraising Manager at Dreams, Aspirations, & Goals will develop fundraising plans, secure financial support, run special events for donors, run other projects to ensure the organization meets its annual goals, and meet all requirements listed below.

This is an unpaid position, but academic credit and letters of recommendation can be given if needed.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement fundraising plans to help secure financial support for organizational events and programs
• Promote fundraising events and programs on various social media platforms and through canvassing at different locations
• Manage the fundraising budget and ensure targets are met monthly and annually
• Write compelling grant proposals
• Collaborate with other departments to maximize fundraising efforts
• Cultivate and maintain a successful relationships with current and potential partners and sponsors
• Recruit and train volunteers under the "Fundraising Team" (if needed)
• Attend monthly meetings

Requirements:

• At least 18 years old
• Eligible to work in the USA
• Available for at least 8-16 hours of work per week
• Currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an accredited college or university or recently graduated

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Working towards a degree in Finance, Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields
• At least an undergraduate sophomore
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Familiarity with using social media platforms (e.g., Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram)
