Anselmo Academy of Music & The Arts is expanding its Board of Directors.
we are looking for VOLUNTEER candidates who live in NYC Tri-state area, and are compelled to help our organization by serving on the Board.
meetings are scheduled once a month ( currently on zoom) to discuss company's well being, performance, and help strategize for future successes.
As Music and Arts industry has been DEVASTATED by the pandemic, we seek high energy, committed volunteers to help us regain stability, attract many new students, and help us serve many communities
it is $3,500/year GIVE in the form of Donation or GET from your contacts to Anselmo Academy in monetary donations from each Board Director

Mission Statement
The mission of the Anselmo Academy of Music and the Arts is to enrich student’s lives and broaden their perspectives by providing music education including instrumental training in piano, violin, guitar and voice as well as acting and tutoring. Classes are taught by highly trained, motivated teachers. We seek to empower all children and adults who want to learn music and the arts regardless of talent or ability to pay. Our wide range of private, group and community based classes foster self-esteem, confidence and the joy of music and the arts.
Description
Established in 2001 with the purpose of reaching children at local schools, Anselmo Academy, formerly known as The Piano School of NYC, started its piano and music lesson programming in Harlem and the Upper West Side of Manhattan.
Inspired by successful results of piano and music group classes at schools in that area, piano and music classes quickly spread around town to Brooklyn, Queens, New Jersey, Rockland County, and West Chester. Anselmo Academy creates incredible personal growth opportunities for all children and adults through first-class music education offering piano lessons and much much more.
We have created a New Brand, Anselmo Academy of Music & the arts in the summer of 2020, and have expanded our curriculum to other musical instruments, added Theater/Acting, and Tutoring
We want to inspire, build confidence, and shape the intellect of children and adults by providing a number of opportunities such as:
- online or In-person one-to-one classes
- After school enrichment arts programs for children
- Art related classes from affiliates non-profit institutions
- Master class seminars with popular musicians from all over the world who are enthusiast supporters of Anselmo Academy
- Music appreciation classes for children with disabilities
- scholarships to children from low-income families
- lessons for students of all ages
- Benefit concerts in New York to support the causes that we believe in
