Please Live is a 501c3 nonprofit based in Mechanicsburg PA that provides FREE education and awareness events about youth mental health and suicide prevention to schools and churches in Pennsylvania.

We are a state-wide nonprofit, however our largest footprint is in the Central PA area - cumberland, dauphin, york, perry, and surrounding counties.

Our program consists of three steps - coordinating with our partner agencies to provide Youth Mental Health First Aid training to teachers/staff, our own Please Live presentation as a special assembly in the school district, and coordination of a mental health fair with local agencies.

We're looking for individuals who have a passion for public speaking, teaching, and saving lives. We have our own Please Live curriculum that we would teach you how to present. Presenters will also receive a $100 stipend per presentation they complete.

The ideal volunteer:
- Has a personal story/connection with mental health and/or suicide
- Has experience with public speaking and/or teaching
- Is internet/computer savvy
- Is within the ages of 18 - 40 -- this age range tends to be more relatable to our target audience of middle and high school students
- Is organized and can prioritize time well
