Description
Are you passionate about clean energy? Do you want to tackle climate change, starting in
your community? The RE-volv Solar Champion volunteer program is a great way to take
action and bring a local solar project to life!
As a RE-volv Solar Champion, you will have an incredible experience spearheading a local solar
project from start to finish. Don’t know much about solar? Not to worry. RE-volv will train you on everything you need to know to bring solar energy to your community. RE-volv is a nonprofit that works with volunteers around the country to run crowdfunding campaigns to raise money to install solar panels on community-serving nonprofits of their choice.
Champion Role:
Manage a Solar Project
We need volunteers to help us get solar panels for Madison County Vineyard Church!
Madison County Vineyard hosts a variety of programs focused on underserved communities both in London, OH & in Columbus, OH. They organize homeless outreach, fight food deserts, offer free summer lunch for elementary school kids and free "rummage" giveaways, as well as offering their space for preschool services for autistic children, tutoring, and programs for kids with behavioral issues.
You will coordinate with the nonprofit, RE-volv, and solar installers on project timelines. Learn all about solar industry while helping a deserving nonprofit go solar!

About RE-volv:
RE-volv is a nonprofit organization based in San Francisco. What we do is empower people
around the country to bring clean energy to their communities. RE-volv finances solar energy projects
for small nonprofit organizations that can’t afford the up-front costs of solar. As the nonprofits save money on their electric bills through solar energy, they pay RE-volv back over a 20-year lease. That money is reinvested into future solar projects creating a first-of-its-kind revolving fund for solar energy. We call it the Solar Seed Fund. Learn more
at www.re-volv.org.

Mission Statement
RE-volv empowers people and communities to fight climate change by investing collectively in renewable energy.
Description
We are a nonprofit organization with a mission to empower people and communities to invest collectively in renewable energy.
Through crowdfunding, RE-volv lets individuals who support clean energy chip in a few dollars to help create solar powered communities around the United States.
100% of your donation is used to put up solar panels in U.S. communities. Then we use that same donation, and the interest it earns, and do it over and over again.
RE-volv provides solar financing to community-based nonprofits and cooperatives around the country without access to traditional solar finance. These organizations save money on their electric costs while paying RE-volv back through a 20-year lease with interest. The lease payments are reinvested in a revolving fund, the Solar Seed Fund, which continually finances community-based solar projects. Over time, each dollar donated to an individual solar project will go towards financing three or more solar projects.
We want to see people-funded renewable energy in every community across the country. That’s why we started this pay-it-forward model for solar energy: so every donation can go further, build more solar, and strengthen more communities around the United States.
