Preferred Hospice is looking for veterans to volunteer their time visiting with other veterans receiving hospice care.We have patients asking for veterans to visit them to discuss their time serving our country. Volunteers who are veterans can offer so much more to our patients who have served our country. Patients are in need of volunteers willing to provide emotional support and comfort, but especially from those who have been where they have been. Preferred Hospice is extremely grateful to all those who have served our magnificent country and we would like to see our veteran patients receive the best care possible. If you are a veteran and would like to volunteer your time visiting with other veterans, please contact volunteer coordinators Christie Brown or Pam Workman today. We would love to talk to you and thank you for serving our country. Mileage reimbursement is provided to all volunteers.
