Horizons provides breakfast bags to home bound seniors that are packed weekdays here at our facility. The bags are packed with dry cereal, juice, etc. You'll need to be able to stand for your two hour shift and the hours that you volunteer are flexible. You can pick the shift that you'll work anytime between 8 am - 3 pm and work as often as you like.

Headquartered in Cedar Rapids, Horizons provides a variety of services across East Central Iowa including Financial Health & Wellness Counseling Services, Family Outreach Programs (Family Support, The Survivors’ Program), Meals On Wheels, and Mental Health Counseling. Our Neighborhood Transportation Service also provides affordable night and weekend transportation to work, job training, and night classes when the city buses don't operate.
