We invite you to join us for the 2019 Santa Barbara Alzheimer's Association Walk to End Alzheimer's, which is one of the Nation's largest events to raise awareness and funds for Alzheimer's care, support, and research. The Walk to End Alzheimer's is a community event that joins friends, family, coworkers, and community groups as they walk to end Alzheimer's along Santa Barbara's beautiful coastline.
To help the nearly 10,000 in Santa Barbara County diagnosed with Alzheimer's, our goal is to raise $230,000 for our local chapter to support the community and have 700 walkers. The event is on November 2 at the Fess Parker Double Tree Resort (aka Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort).
Become a participant (Walker), ambassador or volunteer with us! As a Walker you fundraise for the cause and we have all the tools you need to help you. As a Volunteer/Ambassador opportunities include promoting the event, in the office doing tasks, or virtually doing tasks from home, event day assistance and logistics, walk route monitors, cheer squads, Alzheimer's advocacy, and many other roles.
Please reach out to Whitney at 805-892-4259 ex 101 or wcmcmullen@alz.org. Learn more about the walk and register at act.alz.org/santabarbara
