As a Pet Therapy Volunteer at Moffitt Cancer Center, you have the opportunity to make a tremendous difference in the lives of so many, by sharing your canine companion with not only our patients and guests, but also the Moffitt team members that care for them.

Pet Therapy Team Certification:
Moffitt requires all dogs to be at least 1 year of age, be certified through one of the recognized pet therapy organizations below (remain in good standing with the organization), and provide verification of registration with recognized pet therapy organization and annual health certification (verifying yearly check-up) .

Alliance of Therapy Dogs
Pet Partners

We have a need for more teams at our Magnolia, McKinley and Moffitt International locations. Please contact us at 813-745-2254 for more information.

  • 08:00 AM to 04:00 PM
    Shifts are variable but usually are one of the following: 8am - 12pm, 10am - 2pm, or 12pm -4pm
