Nourishing the North Shore runs a Farmers' Market at the Newbury Food Pantry on Fridays from 3-5 pm. Fresh vegetables are free to all pantry shoppers. Help is needed to take down the farmers market (tent, table, crates), pack the remaining produce in coolers/crates and deliver it all to the Monks' Garden in West Newbury.
Timing is 5-6:30 on Fridays. Volunteer every Friday from June through October or choose the weeks that best suit your schedule.

Description
At NNS, we are growing food, community and relationships so that everyone has enough food and eats well. We are dedicated to supporting the health of our community, the environment and local growers by strengthening our connections with each other and the food we eat. Our programs include VegOut (fresh produce access and distribution program), "Pitch In" volunteer teams, food recovery, community events and garden-based education. All of our programs support healthy eating, local farms, and community building. We are committed to breaking down the barriers to healthy eating presented by traditional food sourcing.
