Nourishing the North Shore run a Farmers' Market at the Pettengill House Food pantry every Tuesday from June through October. Fresh produce is free to pantry shoppers. At closing time, we need help breaking down the farm stand, packing leftover produce in coolers and delivering coolers and table,s tent, and bids to storage at the Monk'd garden in West Newbury.
Help needed Tuesdays from 2-3:30 pm. Sign up to help weekly or one, two, or three times a month.

At NNS, we are growing food, community and relationships so that everyone has enough food and eats well. We are dedicated to supporting the health of our community, the environment and local growers by strengthening our connections with each other and the food we eat. Our programs include VegOut (fresh produce access and distribution program), "Pitch In" volunteer teams, food recovery, community events and garden-based education. All of our programs support healthy eating, local farms, and community building. We are committed to breaking down the barriers to healthy eating presented by traditional food sourcing.
