Our Hospice program needs veteran volunteers who are willing to share some of their time and talents to help patients and their families who are dealing with end of life issues. Our Veteran Volunteers work directly with patients and families assisting with providing services such as:
*Companionship
*Emotional Support
*Veteran to Veteran Socialization
*Participate in Veteran Pinning Ceremonies
*Assist with Veteran and Military related speaking engagements for hospice staff

Volunteers who are veterans have a unique abliity to identify and understand some of the concerns, regrets, and assist with relating with our hospice veteran patients.

If you are a veteran and would like to volunteer with other veteran patients please do not hesitate to contact me to further discuss this unique volunteer oppurtunity.
