We are looking for a Social Media Manager.
This volunteer will be responsible for overseeing all social initiatives both paid and organic. Will oversee the copywriters, manage social calendar, and work closely with the content team on an ongoing basis. Will serve as point person with the adoptions team, events team, and fundraising team to develop cohesive social strategy. Experience in social or a related field required.

Compensation: Volunteer

Time Requirement: 10 - 12 hours per week. Specific hours are generally flexible.

Reports To: Vice President of Marketing

Works With: This position corresponds with the adoption team, foster team, fundraising team, events team and executive leadership team on a regular basis.

Skills/Required Qualifications: Must be willing to submit at writing sample and references. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills; must be responsive and communicative. This role requires a positive and professional demeanor internally and externally.

Hearts & Bones Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization composed of a network of fosters and volunteers who collaborate to rescue shelter dogs and find them loving, forever homes. Every day, there are thousands of animals killed in America's shelters because they do not have homes. As a foster-based rescue, we focus on providing all of our dogs with secure and caring environments while they wait for their forever families.
