Do you have a couple hours of free time each week? Are you looking for a way to gain skills and give back?

San Jose ReStore needs your help! Become a Regular Volunteer at the San Jose Restore today!

The ReStore is a store that accepts donations of new and gently used items from individuals and businesses in the community, and sells those items to the public at a reduced cost, usually 50-70 percent of the original retail value. All proceeds go toward building Habitat homes in the Bay Area.

Regular volunteers make a weekly or monthly commitment to volunteer at the ReStore. Regular Volunteers work closely with our ReStore staff and receive the following benefits:

* Greater flexibility in schedules by working directly with our ReStore managers to determine your schedule
* You will be added to our Regular Volunteer Directory
* Receive invitations to Habitat events and volunteer appreciation events
* Learn from our staff about our programs and its impact on low-income housing in the Bay Area
* Join a community of mission-driven individuals

Typical duties include helping with store organization and retail inventory, cleaning and organizing, unloading donations from our truck, and helping customers with their purchases.
