Lighting Aisle Assistant

Everyone can help brighten a home! Every hour a volunteer invests into this aisle is directly reflected by the homes that Habitat for Humanity is able to build. This position offers FLEXIBLE scheduling and on-the-job training.

Requirements/Skills:

• Detail oriented
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to occasionally use a walk-up ladder
• Desire to volunteer long-term with Cedar Valley ReStore
• Able to volunteer at least 8 hours a week in two separate shifts - Ask about our FLEXIBLE SCHEDULING

Volunteer Responsibilities:

• Follows written guidelines to determine salability of items
• Exchanges full/empty carts of tested items in the electrical room for ease of use
• Follows written guidelines to price items and ensure the readiness of the item for sale
• Hangs/displays lighting aisle items in an organized manner
• Interacts with customers regularly and ensures reliable customer service
• Serves as the go-to person for the lighting aisle
