A 61 year old woman living with ALS and her husband who has Parkinson ’s disease need some help around the home. Because of their respective illnesses, they no longer have the physical ability to clean. They hope there’s someone who can spend 90 minutes a week cleaning - light dusting, scrubbing and vacuuming the floors - their one-level accessible townhome.

Description
What is ALS?
ALS (amyotrophic lateral sclerosis) is a degenerative disease of the central nervous system. ALS results in the progressive weakness of voluntary muscles which often leads to total paralysis. There is no known cause or cure for ALS. People with ALS typically live between two and five years after being diagnosed.
How does The ALS Association help?
We fulfill our mission by offering programs, services, and equipment free of charge to anyone affected by ALS residing in Minnesota, North Dakota, and South Dakota.
