The Central Texas Food Bank facility includes a 4,200-square foot commercial production kitchen that supports on-site meal preparation for multiple programs. We currently prepare meals for two USDA Child Nutrition meal programs in addition to providing meals to our Partner Agencies to distribute.

Preparation of these meals is not possible without support from our dedicated community of volunteers. Sign up today to help make a difference in the lives of thousands of Central Texans in our community.

This volunteer position is open to adults and youth ages 15 and up. Remember, all volunteers under the age of 18must be accompanied by an adult chaperone who is 21+.

Volunteer opportunities to assist in our kitchen occur Monday - Friday, from 9:00am -12:00pm and 1:30pm - 4:30pm.
