Our organization is involved with partnering with local high schools to provides hands on STEM lab activities in Liberia, West Africa.
A part of this ongoing project is to collect data about each of the 435 students in the program to understand aspects of their lives that could negatively impact their education. For example:
1. How many live with single parents that didn't graduate college
2. What kind of language is spoken at home
3. Number of siblings
4. Are they bread winners, etc
The goal is to slice this data in various ways to understand these factors and point donors resources in specific direction to produce expected outcomes. It would be great to have volunteers who are versed in Excel to help with creating charts, Pivot tables, histogram, etc.
As our way of saying thank you, we have a hand crafted painting from Liberia
