Neighbor to Neighbor

We are looking for a caring and compassionate volunteer to provide customer service and support to N2N program participants, residents, and general public calling or visiting our main office. The time commitment for this position will be Mondays from 8am-12pm.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative assistance for staff
  • Answer incoming phone calls with care, compassion, and appropriate referral
  • Greet and assist walk-in clients
  • Open, stamp, and sort incoming mail daily
  • Assist clients in the application process for Affordable Housing or Section 8 to ensure that requisite documentation is obtained
  • Monitor staff schedules and oversee office coverage
  • Assist staff with various projects as needed
Qualifications:
  • Some administrative experience preferred, not required
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Knowledge of local resources
  • computer skills including experience with Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Experience working with low-income populations
  • Ability to demonstrate care and compassion
  • Good organizations and problem solving skills

Neighbor to Neighbor is the primary housing resource for Larimer County residents, with services from homelessness prevention to homeownership. N2N provides stability to Larimer County residents in three key service areas:

  • Renter and Homelessness Prevention
  • Affordable Housing Apartments
  • Homeownership Program
