Safe Places is transitional housing for families who are homeless as a result of domestic violence. Our team works with people who have experienced trauma. They get up everyday and advocate for their clients. It is difficult work. We are looking for volunteers with a variety of skills and talents to do quarterly "self-care days" for our team. Maybe you work in art, cosmetology, mindfulness/yoga, healthy cooking, music or something else that you think would be a great self care activity for our team. We are a small team of 5 professionals.

The Mission of Safe Places is to provide families who are homeless as a result of domestic violence with safety and shelter while empowering them to break the cycle and live free of abuse.
Description
We provide 24-month transitional housing to families who are homeless as a result of domestic violence. We empower survivors of domestic violence through :
- Strength-based case management
- Individual financial counseling
- The goal of self-sufficiency
- Affordable housing search assistance
- Referrals for services such as abuse counseling, legal aid, and immigration
