Come out to the Land O' Lakes property at the Blue Heron Nature Preserve to reestablish some native meadow habitats by removing invasive plant species like white clover, ground ivy, and multiflora rose. No gardening or previous experience necessary.
Date and Time: 4/28th, 9 am - 12 pm
Location: 3931 Land O Lakes Dr Atlanta GA 30342. Parking is on the street at the entrance. Do not navigate to "Blue Heron Nature Preserve" as it will take you to our main building instead. If you have difficulty finding the location, please call Brooke at 678-355-8970.
Please wear closed-toed shoes and long pants you don't mind getting a little dirty. Snacks, tools, gloves, and a water cooler will be provided.

The Blue Heron Nature Preserve 501(c)(3) is a nonprofit organization which manages a 30-acre greenspace located in north Atlanta in partnership with the City of Atlanta Parks Department. The Preserve was founded in 2000 with the vision of being a haven for nature in an urban environment. Our mission is to create a personal experience in nature for everyone through engagement, preservation, education, research and advocacy.
