The Friends Of The Altadena Library is having their annual May parking lot book sale! Volunteers are needed to help set up, keep things flowing and help clean up. The book sale will take place out in The Altadena Library parking lot and is a popular place to find used and rare books for book collectors all over Southern California.
Volunteers are needed to help set up between 9:00am and 3:00pm on Friday May 17, 2019 and also volunteers are needed to help work during the sale on Saturday and Sunday.
Sign up to help for morning or evening. Any amount of time is appreciated.

Public libraries in California seek to engage the talents, skills and commitment of volunteers to serve the communities' information and literacy needs. Libraries offer a variety of skilled volunteer opportunities to make a meaningful contribution to library programs, operations, fundraising events and other community engagement functions. Skilled volunteers have opportunities to lead projects, work with teams of staff and volunteers, learn new skills, and have fun.
